I'm Samuel.
I'm thrilled that you want to know more about me!
I started this business nearly seven years ago and it quickly became a full-time career. I've dedicated myself to the wedding industry in capturing beautiful feature's and catering to my couples 100% of the time. I'm always willing to do whatever it takes to make sure my couples are over-the-top excited with the finished product of their wedding day film and their experience in working with the Pages of Samuel brand. From meeting amazing people, connecting with fantastic vendors, getting to explore venues from all over, and working with others alike who are passionate about capturing their couples wedding day in the best and most hype way possible.
When I started this business I wanted to create three words that would best emphasize what I do. After reviewing all the weddings I have done I finally came up with Real, Raw and Memorable. Your wedding day only happens once, and being able to ensure moments are kept forever is something that I love being able to provide for my couples.
Just as much as any other vendor, I love getting to spend the day with you! From the getting ready, details, to the first looks, the final walking down the aisle, to the grand entrance, speeches and first mentions, from first dances, to all the dancing when the floor opens up for partying! It's my number one goal to have fun with you, celebrate with you, and make sure that you have everything you need on your best day ever! :)

Examples That Keep Me Going.
Just a Few of My Favorite Things...
Family Time.
One reason why I love being a full-time wedding videographer is because it allows me to spend time with my nephews and having "bro-nights" playing Xbox, going for walks, or going to a store and having them pick out a gift. We'll always have snacks and most definitely sugar free pop (lol). We'll ride four wheelers together and have some good old fashioned fun cracking jokes and talking about life and what they're passionate in. It's always a rewarding time getting to hear what sport they're playing or are considering in pursuing, and, the games they are seemingly addicted to on their iPad.
(I have yet to master fortnight)
Another example why I love doing what I do is because of the flexibility it provide's for traveling the world for other endeavors. To not only benefiting myself in the surrounding of other cultures, but to help others succeed in what they're passionate about. I love the random meet ups with current and old friends for wings or coffee and we'll talk about life, their work, and my own. I love most that we'll eventually come to a topic to better strategize each other and what that looks for business and life growth. We'll talk about family, new things, purpose and vision, for the future and what it could potentially look like if I or (we) put in a little more effort.
It's a forever never-ending process.
Cooking.
I love a delicious home made meal. I don't call myself a professional chef, but excellence is important to me, and when cooking for yourself, it needs to be done right (lol). And as I say, if I'm making it, it's going to be deliciously good.
Learning to cook well has been a very freeing process for me, and has brought me a lot of joy in life. From crafting ingredients, to trying new things. Cooking well is an art, especially when you're self-taught.
Being a foodie, there isn't anything I won't try (except sauerkraut). Give me the raw goodness, the spices, the flipping, cutting and turning to make a masterpiece of a meal. It's nice to get away from working in-front of a screen five days a week, hours on end, week by week to work with my hands in a different way..
Shopping at a food store and smelling the freshness is a relief!
